Aestas.

Lights hang down lazily

as the wind

blows softly through

the summer night

the air of

relaxation

almost irresistible

to the people

down below

with clothes that

hang off them

like tapestries

intricate jeweled designs

laying out the path

they have chosen

the little red string that

helped lead them

to their personal

refuge

their undying love

that blossomed

straight from their hearts

and into the land

a kind of love that

we, as the younger generation,

have yet to see

Our clothes have yet to show

who we are

for we haven’t been on the journey

that will lead us

to that

private sanctuary

where our hearts can

finally be at

peace and our

souls will

be intertwined

in an everlasting

union.
